Bookings available and prices
In compliance with current regulations and, especially Law 34/2002 on e-commerce and information society services, PONENT HOLIDAYS SL sets out, in the appropriate section for making bookings, information on all the accommodation options and their features and prices. However, PONENT HOLIDAYS SL reserves the right to withdraw, reinstate or change its offers for customers through its website, by simply changing the content thereof. Thus, the products and/or services offered at any time by the PONENT HOLIDAYS SL website will be governed by the applicable General Conditions in force. Likewise, the company is entitled to stop offering, without prior notice and at any time, access to the products and/ or services mentioned.
The price for each of the accommodation options will be stated in Euros, also specifying if it includes VAT or any other applicable tax. The prices displayed will be the existing prices, typing errors excepted. When the price displayed differs from the actual price due to an error, PONENT HOLIDAYS SL shall inform the customer via e-mail before collecting payment for the booking.
This tax must be paid by those over 16 years of age staying in tourist accommodation in the Balearic Islands (not included in the price).
The tax is paid together with the outstanding payment for the booking.
The amount payable varies according to the type of tourist establishment. In holiday homes the charge is € 2.20/per person/per night (VAT included).
In the following cases, the charge is € 1.10:
- From the 9th day in the accommodation
- In low season (1 November to 30 April)
The tax collected is used to improve the environment and the countryside.
The price includes:
- Pre-arrival and post-departure cleaning
- Hand towels, shower towels and beach towels
- A cot and a high chair (on request)
PONENT HOLIDAYS SL reserves the right to request a deposit.
The deposit will be paid on the day of arrival and will be fully refunded on the day of departure, once it has been checked that the property is in the same conditions as the day of entry.
The availability of the accommodation options advertised by PONENT HOLIDAYS SL through its website may vary depending on customer demand. Although PONENT HOLIDAYS SL periodically updates its database, the accommodation option requested by the customer could be unavailable at this time. In this case, PONENT HOLIDAYS SL will send the customer an e-mail informing them that the option is not available.
Forms of payment
PONENT HOLIDAYS SL requests a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay, at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than two weeks prior to arrival by any of the following methods:
- VISA or MASTERCARD credit card
All transactions involving the transfer of personal or banking data are carried out safely through a server using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) internet security protocol. All the information you send us is encrypted online.
In addition, your credit card details are entered directly onto the bank’s website, in the POS (the bank's Point of Sale) and are not entered or recorded on any PONENT HOLIDAYS SL servers.
When paying by VISA or MASTERCARD, the following details will always be requested: The card number, expiry date, and a Validation Code that matches the last three digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD card, thus offering a further guarantee regarding the security of the transaction.
This form of payment is valid only on the web.
When a purchase has been made fraudulently or improperly using the number of a payment card, the card holder may request the immediate cancellation of the charge. In this case, the appropriate debit and credit notes will be made in a timely manner in the accounts of the service provider and the cardholder.
However, if the purchase has actually been made by the cardholder and the refund request is not due to exercising the right of withdrawal or termination and, therefore, the request for the cancellation of the corresponding charge is unjustified, the cardholder shall be obliged to compensate PONENT HOLIDAYS SL for any damages caused as a result of the aforementioned cancellation.
- Bank transfer
If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you will receive, together with the confirmation of your order, an e-mail with the bank details of PONENT HOLIDAYS SL.
When making the bank transfer, it is very important to indicate the order number, as well as your name and surname. The transfer must be carried out within three days of the date of confirmation of the order to be effective.
If you wish, you can send us the transfer receipt by e-mail to email@example.com. However, our administration department must have bank confirmation of the transfer in order for the order to be effective.
Please be reminded that the payment must be made in EUROS and that any possible currency exchange fees and bank charges are at your own expense.
If you are carrying out the bank transfer from outside Spain, it is very important that, when making the bank transfer, you always notify your bank to cover the commissions at source, i.e. the bank charges and expenses for your account. If this is not done, and PONENT HOLIDAYS SL does not receive payment for the full amount, your order may be suspended.
Any possible currency exchange and bank charges shall be borne by the customer.
If the booking is made within 15 days prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking.
In the event that the payment is not made within 72 hours of the time of booking, the booking will be considered to be cancelled.
Cancellation of the booking
To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival.
If you cancel 15-30 days before the arrival date, PONENT HOLIDAYS SL will receive a compensation of 30% of the total booking. If you cancel less than 15 days before the arrival date, PONENT HOLIDAYS SL will be paid 100% of the total booking as compensation.
Alternatives or cancellation
In the event of force majeure (fire, works, major malfunctioning…), PONENT HOLIDAYS SL reserves the right to replace the booked accommodation with equivalent accommodation of similar characteristics.
PONENT HOLIDAYS SL may also cancel the booking due to the breach of the conditions mentioned above.
According to the provisions of Article 103 of Law 3/2014, of March 27, which amends the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, the provision of services or goods to the specifications of the consumer or clearly personalised, or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or quickly pass their use-by date, are exempt from withdrawal.
