Conditions and warranties
In order to make your reservation we ask that you pay a 30% deposit at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than two weeks before the booking is due to start, via credit card or bank transfer.
If you make a booking within 15 days of your arrival, we ask that the full amount be paid at the time of booking.
In the circumstances that payment is not made within 72 hours of it being requested, the booking will be cancelled.

In accordance with the Law, INT/1922/2003 of 3rd July, regarding registry-books and travelers arrival reports in holiday accommodation, we kindly ask you to include a photocopy of your identity card/passport for all guests over 16 of age. You can send them by email firstname.lastname@example.org
It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure the veracity of the details provided. Should it transpire than any of the details provided are not true, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
The price includes:
- Changeover clean at the beginning and end of your stay.
- Bath and shower towels (beach towels are not included)
- Bed linen
- A cot and highchair (if requested)
If you would like any extra equipment or services, please let us know in advance in order for us to be able to guarantee them. The following costs apply:
- Extra bed 80€
- 2nd cot and highchair 50€
- Extra clean * 20€/hour
- Holidays Menorca beach towel 8€/unit
* Should you require any additional cleaning during your stay, as arrival and departure cleans are included.
SUSTAINLABLE TOURISM TAX
All people above 16yrs of age, staying in tourist accommodation in the Balearic Islands, must pay this tax. (It is not included in the price).
Payment is due with the balance of your booking.
The amount due varies according to the kind of holiday accommodation one stays in. In holiday rental villas, the amount to be paid is 2,20€/person/night (VAT included).
In the following cases, only half the amount will be due:
- From the 9th day of your holiday onwards
- During low season (from 1st November to 30th April).
The funds collected with this tax will be destined to improvements in the environment and rural areas.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
The property will be ready for arrivals by 3pm on the first day of your booking and guests must leave by 10am on the last day.
Please send us your arrival and departure times in advance in order for us to make the cleaning arrangements.
Holidays Menorca reserves the right to request a security deposit of 600€.
This deposit is paid on the first day of your holiday and will be returned in full on the day of departure, once the property has been checked and handed over in the same condition as it was upon your arrival.
Should you wish to cancel your reservation the deposit amount will not be returned. Depending on how many days in advance the cancellation is made, Holidays Menorca will request the following cancellation fees:
- More than 15 days in advance: 30%
- 15 days or less: 100%
ACCOMMODATION SLEEPING CAPACITY
The property’s maximum sleeping capacity is on our website. In the circumstances that you wish to exceed the capacity, the company must be informed in advance, as it is not permitted to exceed the accommodations’ capacity without prior agreement.
Placing mattresses, tents, blowups, marquees etc. at the property is also not permitted.
Upon arrival, the property will be clean and you will find a set of towels and linen per person. We also offer:
- Towel change every 3-4 days (for stays of more than 7 nights)
- Weekly linen change (for stays of more than 10 nights)
Holidays Menorca reserves the right to leave double the required amount of towels and/or linen on the day of arrival, instead of carrying out the change during your stay.
The price does not include an interim clean during your stay. If you wish to request one, please contact us and we will send you a quote for this service.
We kindly ask that on the departure day you help the cleaning staff by leaving the property as tidy as possible. Please ensure the rubbish has been emptied and the kitchen utensils cleaned.
The keys are in a key safe at the property. A few days before your arrival, we will provide you with the code to the key safe.
Some properties do not have a key safe and in this event, Holidays Menorca will let you know the procedure for the key collection in advance.
As a rule, pets are NOT permitted in our properties, except for a few.
In all cases, it is necessary to ask Holidays Menorca for authorisation and we kindly ask that you let us know the type of pet and size or breed for our information.
- You are responsible for your pet and any damage it may cause.
- Under no circumstances can pets use the swimming pool.
- Pets are not permitted to climb up on sofas or beds.
- You must collect all feces.
We kindly ask you to be respectful towards the neighborhood.
Organizing parties is not permitted. Should any complaints be received from either, neighbors or police, the property will have to be vacated and guests will have no right to compensations or reimbursements.
Neither Holidays Menorca nor the properties’ property owners are responsible for any damages that may be caused during your stay, including and not limited to, personal injuries, death, losses due to fire, theft or flooding.
ALTERNATIVES OR CANCELLATION
Holidays Menorca reserves the right to change your booked accommodation for another of similar characteristics in the event of force majeure (fire, building works, significant damages…)
In addition, Holidays Menorca can also cancel your reservation in the event that the conditions laid out in this document are not met.

However, a few days before your arrival we will send you all the necessary information related to your rental property:

- Contact numbers
Ants are a common problem in Menorca and although they are harmless, they can be a nuisance.
We fumigate all our properties in May and then carry out a follow-up of the problem. However, it is difficult to eliminate them and therefore, in order to avoid ants we recommend:
- Not leaving food out on kitchen surfaces and tables
- Keeping all food in the fridge
- Emptying the rubbish daily, particularly if it contains meat, fish or puddings.
