Menorca, the quiet island

Few places in the Mediterranean captivate traveler as does Menorca. Walking the calm of the old city of Mahon and Ciutadella is only a prelude to what the island really in store for us.

And is that beyond a cuisine and hardly comparable historical and cultural heritage in the western Mediterranean, Minorca is its unique landscape; are those coves, almost accidentally encounters where time is lost and remain at the mercy of the cadence that draws the ebb and flow of the sea on the sand.

It declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1993, is also distinguished by the grace with which he has preserved the balance of its natural wealth. Every corner of the island welcomes the newcomer in a respectful and friendly atmosphere, ideal for finding solace throughout the year, far from the crowds.

Therefore, once we know Menorca is our friend, the beloved island. Perhaps we first visited, but certainly not the last.
